ACIU Student Honor Code

AC International University adopted the ACIU Student Honor Code, which was subsequently endorsed by the Faculty and the ACIU Board of Trustees. The Code guides student conduct at the University. It reads as follows:

I, as a student member of the AC International University academic community, in accordance with the University’s mission and in a spirit of mutual respect, pledge to:

  • Continuously embrace honesty and curiosity in the pursuit of my educational goals.
  • Avoid all behaviors that could impede or distract from the academic progress of myself or other members of my community.
  • Do my own work with integrity at all times, in accordance with syllabi, and without giving or receiving inappropriate aid.
  • Do my utmost to act with commitment, inside and outside of class, to the goals and mission of AC International University.

Infractions of this code may be referred to the Restorative Justice Committee.

Student policies are published in the Student Handbook, which can be found on the school’s website. The Planner is available to all students digitally. The College encourages student freedom and self- government within the limits in the Student Handbook. Students become liable to disciplinary action if their conduct is in conflict with these stipulations.

Students seeking employment at the University as a means of partial self-support should inquire at the Office of Financial Aid.

Students of all faiths are warmly welcomed, both at the University and at daily Mass. Mass is held in the Virtual Chapel at 8:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday when school is in session.

The University newspaper, AC Diario and the literary magazine Voces  provide students with opportunities to publish their written work.
